I'm a qualified teacher with a strong passion for education and over 16 years’ experience working with students studying their GCSEs and A-levels. After qualifying as a solicitor in 2002 and practising at a leading law firm in Bristol, I moved into teaching in 2008, specialising in A Level Law.
Since then, I’ve supported hundreds of students in the classroom and one-to-one, helping them gain confidence, improve their grades, and achieve their goals.
I’ve held senior leadership roles across respected colleges, including Head of Sixth Form at Weston College & SGS College, Assistant Principal at City of Bristol College, and most recently, Vice Principal at St Brendan’s Sixth Form College. These roles have given me in-depth knowledge of the A Level and Level 3 vocational curriculum, university admissions, and the support students need to succeed both academically and personally.
As a qualified Mental Health First Aider and Safeguarding Lead, I have extensive experience supporting students with anxiety, SEN, and a wide range of individual support needs. I believe that every student deserves to feel heard, understood, and empowered in their learning.
Whether your goal is to boost your grades, prepare for university/apprenticeship, or build confidence in GCSE / A-level subjects, I provide patient, personalised tutoring tailored to your individual needs. I specialise in subjects such as; Law, Criminology, Sociology, Psychology, English Language, English Literature, Film Studies, Media Studies, Politics, Business, Protective Services, Health & Social Care, Religious Studies, and the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).
